How to get here and get around Plovdiv
From Plovdiv Airport (PDV, ~15 km)
A taxi is the easiest option — the ride takes about 20–25 minutes. Order one by phone or through an app (see “Taxis” below) rather than taking a car on the spot without an agreed price.
From Sofia Airport (~150 km)
Many guests fly into Sofia: buses from Sofia Central Bus Station to Plovdiv take about 2 hours and leave every 30–60 minutes. There are also trains from Sofia Central Railway Station.
By train
Plovdiv Central Railway Station is about 25 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by taxi from the apartments. Trains to and from Sofia run regularly.
By bus
Yug (South) Bus Station, next to the railway station, serves most intercity routes, including Sofia, Burgas and Varna. Sever (North) Bus Station serves destinations in northern Bulgaria.
Taxis
Taxis in Plovdiv are cheap — most rides in the centre cost just a few euros. Order by phone or with the TaxiMe app to avoid unlicensed cars.
On foot and by bike
From Kapana everything important is within walking distance — the Old Town, the main street and the restaurants. Bikes for hire are also available nearby.
By car
